I do not leave a lot of reviews, but I do when I have exceptional service. My friend blindly booked a room for me for the night, so my expectations were not set very high. But, I have to say I was astoundingly impressed. I clean houses for a living so, I set the bar extremely high on cleanliness. Again, I was astounded on just how immaculate the room was. The property its self is beautiful. The lodge is gorgeous. The customer service is better than any 5 star hotel I have ever stayed at. Dave is super attentive, personable, hospitable and sorta funny. On a serious note, you can tell how much he loves what he does, and truly cares about his clientele. This is the only hotel/motel I will ever consider staying at when I am in the area.
We loved our stay here, and plan on coming back. The room was super clean , the staff was friendly and helpful. Felt very comfortable and safe. Highly recommend. We have told everyone about how great this place is.
We did an overnight stay and play. The arrival day course was the East Gull Lake course right at the clubhouse. Being Seniors I found the elevated tees too high and lacking any steps to get to the tees. The course also was fairly hilly but that's not an issue. It was well conditioned and challenging and fair for a resort course. The condos were somewhat dated but still adequate and clean. The next day we played Stonehenge North and I liked that better than the Gull Lake courses. It had more character, more modern and frankly more fun to play. Overall the staff was excellent, the course conditions were very good and a positive experience. We would return again.
Older motel that has been updated. Sleeping room is spacious, clean and comfortable. This was well updated. Very comfortable King bed in very good condition (mattress). Quiet and convenient. Nice simple coffee and pastery included and available in the morning. Pleasant environment. The tiny bathroom is the drawback. Manager was friendly and clearly wanted to be helpful. Lovely location next to golf course and lake accross the street. We would stay there again. Dining across the street at Compass & Cleaver (dinner only) is exceptional!
We were there for my daughter's wedding, with many family members and friends. It was a fantastic place for a group. We utilized the lodge for a catered breakfast, and the staff was so helpful. Some folks also managed to fit in a bit of golf. The beds were very comfortable. An inviting atmosphere.
Very nice remodeled rooms, accommodating staff, clean, and very comfortable environment! Carlene is fantastic and the new owner Dave is doing many great things too make the experience memorable! Our group of 20 plus guys has been going to this hotel for over 30 years. Our most recent visit was the best ever! Keep up the great customer service and best of luck to you in the future! Thank you!
Manager was excellent with communication and just a joy to work with once we arrived. The owner and the staff that we met were all very helpful and very kind as well. I highly recommend their facility. Very convenient for golfing as well. A person in our party, had a health issue and I can’t say enough about the way they handled it with compassion and just pure kindness. Also, The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were extremely clean. A++ Thanks much, Tim
